Our Beliefs
Foundational Statement of Belief:
Whereas we, being a body of people of like precious faith, declare and adopt the following Foundational Biblical Doctrines and Core Beliefs as our Constitution:
We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ for eternal life through His life, death, and the power of His resurrection (John 3:16; John 14:6; Acts 4:12).
We believe the Bible is God’s Word and the revelation of His will to all mankind, and we accept it as our rule for faith and conduct for everyday life. God’s Word is truth and the standard of all that is right and wrong (John 1:1–14; John 17:17).
We believe Christian fellowship, mutual edification, and evangelical effort, in the form of local churches, is God’s ordained order for His people (Ephesians 4:11–13).
We believe the Church is to assemble for worship, fellowship, counsel, instruction in the Word of God, and the work of the ministry (Hebrews 10:24–25; 2 Peter 3:18).
We believe the Church should exercise the gifts and offices provided for in the New Testament to obtain the Christian goal: “But you are to be perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect” (Matthew 5:48, NLT).
We believe God has called and anointed us to emphasize the fullness of the Gospel through the Baptism of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8).
Therefore, we have accepted and adopted these Foundational Biblical Doctrines and Core Beliefs as our Constitution. By God’s grace, we shall seek to be governed by this Constitution as set forth and will also seek to teach and propagate the doctrines contained in our Statement of Foundational Biblical Doctrines and Core Beliefs.
